Keerthana disputes JK Tyre plant claim in Ranipet Assembly debate
The minister said the environmental complaint would be investigated and action taken against the responsible company.
TVK MLA Tahira called for the closure of what she described as a JK Tyre plant in Ranipet. Minister Keerthana clarified that the company has no manufacturing plant there and said the environmental complaint would be investigated before action is taken against the responsible firm. She also cited JK Tyre’s Tamil Nadu MoU covering ₹5,143 crore in investment and 3,510 jobs.
