₹5.54 crore tender for new CM office
PWD has invited tenders for first-phase works at Namakkal Kavignar Maligai.
The Chief Minister’s office, based at Fort St. George for over 50 years, is being shifted to the 10th floor of Namakkal Kavignar Maligai. The Public Works Department has invited tenders worth ₹5.54 crore for the first phase, covering a new CM chamber, private secretaries’ offices and a modern conference hall. Works are to be completed within three months of the contract being finalised.
