Housing and Urban Development is allotted ₹8,852 crore - 24,131 apartments to finish this year, construction starting on 14,194 more, ₹1,253 crore for homes with basic amenities, and ₹2,117 crore for integrated urban development. MY-HOME launches in Chennai; a PPP plan targets one lakh homes in seven years with ₹15,000 crore investment. Handloom, handicraft, textiles and khadi departments get ₹1,678 crore overall.
