Ministers cannot even pronounce Tamil correctly, Nainar Nagendran says
The opposition leader cited a minister reading illangal as ilakkangal, and also attacked the government on Mettur water and unsown land in Thanjavur.
Opposition leader Nainar Nagendran said ministers cannot even pronounce Tamil correctly, citing Minister Jagadeeswari reading “illangal” as “ilakkangal”. He said the chief minister had no intention of releasing water from the Mettur dam on time, asked whether farmers would get aid after 1.75 lakh acres in Thanjavur went unsown, and said a Pulithevan commemorative stamp would be issued within the next year.
