Women picket CM office over Kodungaiyur sewage

Residents of Vedantha Murugappa Street in Kodungaiyur, Perambur, say sewage has been pooling on the road. They say they have gone 15 years without basic amenities, must walk through sewage to reach home, and that children fall ill often. After a petition at the MLA office brought no action, more than 60 women picketed Chief Minister Vijay’s office.
